2011 has been another successful year for the HTH Sediment Corer. The number of users has increased in a steady pace and the feed-back is positive. In fact, one of the most up-lifting judgements of the year was a long term user calling it "the Rolls-Royce of corers". How is that for feed-back!!
Many thanks to all of you users out there for a great year! We will keep on supporting you to the best of our ability this year as well!

Record depth noted for the HTH Corer! Dr Dan Engstrom, director of the St. Croix Watershed Research Station, Minnesota, USA, has been kind enough to provide us with some thrilling information: In the summer of 2007, one of his graduate students used their
70 mm HTH corer on Lake Tahoe, California / Nevada. This is the second deepest lake in North America and the cores were recovered from 400-450 meters depth! And perfect cores they were, too!
Many thanks to Dr Engstrom for the information!
This is indeed the deepest recording we have heard of thus far. Have you got information of cores being recovered from even greater depths?
Send us an e-mail and tell us all about it!

The introduction of the Super Corer. When you need to get longer sediment samples, up to 1 meter, with perfect quality, we are now proud to present the Super Corer, based on years of research and development. This tripod gravity corer offers problem-free coring with
undisturbed samples as result, in a way that few if any corers can manage. In addition, it shares some of the unique features of the HTH corer, such as the extruding mechanism and the sectioning tray. More information found here....
